After finishing high school I enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program at EAFIT University and got my B.s. degree (Hons) there.
I moved to The Basque Country 6 years ago and I still live there...I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of the Basque Country in 2009.
I work as a full time researcher at VICOMTech. |

The first time I was in a KES conference was in 2005 in Melbourne - Australia, in that conference I met many interesting people whose inspiration and devotion to science made a big difference in my career.
Back at that time I was staring my PhD research and I can say without doubt that KES was the place where it all began. After 6 years and having obtained my PhD I continue attending every year not only to see good friends, but to learn from them in the best possible environment.
The quality of the works presented and the effort made by the organizers in order to offer an excellent event every year deserves my recognition and gratitude.
